Illustration - Sketches
The sketching faze in illustration works as a way to adjust positions and overall composition with as much control as possible traditionally before working in Procreate.
Digital Line Art
Once I am satisfied with a composition, it is scanned and transferred digitally where it can be further arranged and line art can be completed.
Rendering
Colors, shading, and texture are added to the illustration in this final phase.
Pages - Sketches
Typically i would start with a script or a scene and sketches help to illustrate how the scene would be visualized and arranged to flow best.
Digital Line Art
Traditional sketches are transferred and cleaned up for digital lineart, this step involves dividing a page into different panels.
Rendering
Colors and backgrounds are added in the rendering stage as will as dialouge.
